Dress for Less: L’il Bow Peep (toe)

Remember 5 minutes ago when you read about these amazing Valentino pumps? Well, if you’re like me, there is no way in heeeeellll you would ever pay $600 for a pair of shoes. So, I have scoured the interwebs in search of a suitable and affordable replacement for the Valentino peeptoes.

I must admit that a perfect yet less expensive shoe twin proved to be harder than I thought. There really is no substitute for the Valentino patent leather peep toes, but if you don’t mind slight differences, read on.

This first option is the DV by Dolce Vita Scarlett patent leather peep toe slingback pump (with super cute bow embellishment). This shoe can be found at Zappos for $92, which isn’t chump change, but saves you at least $500. Plus this cute peep tow also comes in nude/blush patent leather.

This second option is the Fitzwell Brevety Natural Matte Snake color also found at Zappos. This l’il bow peep is almost a complete negative version of the Valentino pump (ie. opposite colors). At $85, this shoe is also a more affordable option and is very cute!

And lastly, I am loving the Betsey Johnson Maggi platform pump! Not a bad price at $99.95 at Zappos, these super girly, super high heeled pumps come in polka dot (ahh!) nude, nude, and a floral pattern. And do I detect a hint of espadrille?!

All of these super cute heels would be great for work or date night, paired with a skirt, blouse, and nice structured jacket. Or pair the nude colored shoes could with a red dress and navy jacket for a nautical look (ohhhh girl!).

I love the Maggi pumps but I don’t think I could walk while wearing them! Like I said, not exactly Valentino here, but still super cute and feminine shoes!
