I just discovered this awesome canvas purse/satchel and I just love it! for $35, you can’t beat a bag that goes with just about anything. I love canvas bags for their durability and price! Kohl’s also has this bag with different patterns of fabric and different colors. They are all lovely but this is my favorite.

I am loving The Limited’s summer nautical navy & red campaign. In case you didn’t already know, I love the nautical style. Also to top it all off, The Limited has some fabulous polka dot sweaters and dresses. Swoon.
Here’s what I like so far:
The best thing about The Limited’s style is that it’s work appropriate without losing a sense of playfulness. The ruffles, the polkadots, the sweetheart dresses all add to this sexy [but not too sexy, LOL], cute style.
I especially have eyes for the Sleeveless Ruffle Wrap top in Navy. I have been wanting a wrap blouse for a while and paired with khaki pants and red shoes, I see this cute shirt being work and play appropriate.
I have been many pieces from the only comment I have about their fit is that it’s weird. I usually wear a L and in Limited I’m somewhere between a L and and XL. The L size is usally too small whereas the XL is quite large. I need to invest in one of those small blouse clinchers to create a waist with some of these blouse.
What do y’all think? Do you shop at the Limited?
I bought these Miz Mooz Avalon wedges from Piperlime.com for a ridiculously good price and blogged about them in an earlier post. Today, they arrived via FedEx, a sweet ending to a stressful and long day at work.
I was worried about the comfort and fit factor (and of course the SEXY factor, harhar). With these platform shoes, I sized up to a 40 (size 10) while I usually wear a 9, 9W, or 9.5. as I have wide/fat feet. I am happy to announce that these super cute Miz Mooz shoes are very comfortable, stylish (and oh so reminiscent of the bohemian 70s), and they fit PERFECTLY!
Please pardon the weird, flaky skin. I am still suffering the after affects of a sunburn from 3 weeks ago. Yech!
A thanks is in order to my coworker Dian and my lovely mama for encouraging me to procure these beauties. I am definitely pleased.
I am also very happy today because not only did my Miz Mooz Avalon arrived, but I got my new iPhone 4 in the mail too! A resounding (and nerdy) thumbs up to being able to record short video clips. A video review clip is in order! I am of course, awkward and embarrassing but I hope this video review helps.
Does my voice sound like that in real life? Ugh, I hope not. Oh well, hopefully my video reviews will be better from here on out.
Let me know what you think! What’s the best way to wear platform shoes?
I don’t know what it is with me, I’m definitely on a shoe kick!
A lot of people noticed the JustFabulous Debbie t-strap platform shoes, enough so that it sold out fairly quickly.
I wasn’t really loving the Debbie platform (which BTW looks very similar to a Jeffrey Campbell t-strap shoe, read about its lookalike quality here) but I know some of my friends did, and I found some lookalikes, so I decided to share my finds with everyone.
The t-strap platforms are priced at $35.40 and $32.50, respectively, which is less than ShoeFab’s $39.95 but the retailers require a $50 purchase for free shipping. I noticed Blue, White, and Black color options, but the blue one only has one size left.
There aren’t that many sizes left of these ShoeFab lookalikes either, so jump on it ladies.
And actually, UrbanOg has some really cute shoes at very, very good prices–definitely budget friendly. One of my faves is the Qupid Enrich 90 Peep Toe wedge in blush (it’s also available in black and taupe patent leather). SO CUTE and very affordable. Love them! What do you think!?
