mixing patterns: sole society pumps + my ootd (kind of)

This WAS an OOTD but just not today’s outfit.

OOTD - Sole Society Elisa pumps, Rafaella mini skirt + Merona belted wrap top (both thrifted)
OOTD – Sole Society Elisa pumps, Rafaella mini skirt + Merona belted wrap top (both thrifted) + old tights from TJ Maxx

I went a little pattern-crazy and color-crazy with this outfit with polka dots on the shirt, a pattern on the skirt, and a pattern on the tights, but I think it kind of works (I hope). But what I really like is how my navy sole society Elisa elongated my legs. These are my first point-toe heels in a LONG TIME and I kinda love ’em. They’re suede and pretty comfortable and have a cute bow on the side.

Again, please excuse my janky iphone in mirror in bathroom photos. You gotta work with what you have and I didn’t have anyone to help take my pix.

What do you think? Too much?

  1. I think it all looks great. It is busy but I see an order to it. Love he heels as well. As I am not a fan of the real pointy toes, you make them look wonderful. Good job! 😉

  2. I love the Elisa heels, the bow is so cute! However, I’ve heard complaints about the bow being too big and that you can step on it! Is that true for yours? Love the pattern mixing and the cute tights!
