Ever wanted to change up your heels without buying a whole new pair? Me too. That’s why I was excited to try High Pheels when I was approached by one of the company founders. He was very nice and open to ideas and recommendations.

The idea behind High Pheels (pronounced Peels) is that you can take one pair of platform pumps and change them up with these multi-colors, multi-print shoe covers.

I liked the newsprint pattern, and I LOVED the idea so I though I’d give it a try. here are some of my opinions on High Pheels:

Pros:
-inexpensive way to chance up your heels ($19.99/pair)
-many different colors and prints
-easy to use
-hand washable
-can make the inside of your shoes more comfortable

Cons:
-didn’t fit my heels perfectly
-might not be great for wide feet
-only works with platform pumps (I only have 1 pair that meet this criterion)

My Recommendations:
Design:
-I’d like to see more prints such as nautical stripes, large polka dots, small polka dots, and others
-I’d like to see add-ons such as bows and flowers
Functionality:
-I’d like the High Pheels to fit my shoe better by having more black fabric and more side fabric.
-I’d possibly like the fabric to be more opaque

The Bottom Line on High Pheels:
-Anthony from High Pheels mentioned they are working on a proprietary pump that would fit the High Pheels perfectly, which makes me more likely to recommend their product since you’d have a guarantee that they would fit
-worth a try if you have narrow, small feet. Even though they sent me the size that should have fit my feet, the High Pheels seemed too tight and narrow.
-I wasn’t able to get them to work on my pumps but a) I only have 1 pair that would work with the Pheels and b) I have wide, large feet
-I really like the idea of High Pheels!

***I received a complimentary pair of High Pheels but all opinions are my own. Other than the complimentary product, I was not compensated for this post.

  1. Ooh, interesting! This is a really cool and unique concept, but I agree with you that the fit just isn’t quite right. I think they should definitely sell a pump that fits the covers perfectly so you wouldn’t have to worry about that when ordering!

    1. Totally agree! I wish I had more platform pumps to “test” with the high pheels but oh well πŸ™‚ Anthony (one of the founders) will be keeping me up to date on when their shoe gets released:)

  2. What a fun product, thanx for clueing us all in .. I also have wide and large feet (size 9! hihihi), do let us know when the propriety pump comes out. Love the idea!

    XOXO Nensi

  3. They are interesting… I for one think of the price and feel I can find a pair on clearance for that or I can add another ten or twenty and get the actual shoes. I like the idea and I think it can work for some… I am not partial to it. Thanks for the fun show. πŸ˜‰

    1. totally agree – except when traveling sometimes you don’t want to pack all those shoes. They take up so much room. I think that’s where the idea for this product originated. we’ll see how their specially designed shoe comes out and maybe they’d do a special price on the covers so you don’t have to spend so much on each one?

    1. I hadn’t either until I was approached by one of the founders to try them out. They are cool but I am waiting to hear back when their proprietary shoes come out – that way we can be sure they fit:)

  4. I’m assuming this is the owner of this “company” comes to The Clubhouse in Dallas, Tx. (A nude strip club). He decides to tip me, a waitress, $20 from his PayPal account then REVERSE the charge 4 days later. If you’re too drunk to remember what you do with your business account, then get cash from the ATM. That was a very shitty thing to do. I can’t imagine how shitty his shoes are in person.

    1. Oh my goodness, Brittany. That is truly awful! I’m really sorry this happened. I don’t know anything about this guy but I don’t know if his company is still doing business, it seems to have dropped off a few years ago. Maybe lack of appropriate management?
