I must not be the only fashion blogger out there who has REALLY BAD photo days….right?
Yesterday was one of them. My sweet hubby takes the majority of my blog pix and because we were both worn out from a long Monday, the outfit photos turned out pretty bad. Whether they’re blurry, bad lighting, silly faces, weird reflection, face looks tired, lumpy, bad angles, or all around “MEH” feeling, yesterday’s pics had all of them! You know, things that Photoshop can’t fix! I did some very slight color adjustment in photoshop because I thought they’d be easier to view if they weren’t so dark.
I’m going to share my sub-par photos because….really….WHO CARES?! I write this blog for fun and friendship and not for advertising or to please anyone so really I’m my own worst judge. 🙂 🙂
Thanks for reading! until next time…

I LOVE STRIPES! and my first purchase from eshakti.
I bought this skirt on clearance but misread the size chart and ordered a L/12 which is TIGHT around the waist. I had to wear my tightest control shorts ever. Oh well. The skirt is super cute, was a good price, and arrived quickly (cause it was ready to ship and not customized). The quality seems good too but I’ve only worn the skirt once.
And also yay pepper plants + deck that badly needs staining, lol.
Hope you’re all having a great day!

I recently found this super cute dress at one of the local thrift stores and I couldn’t resist the watermelon-like color palate 😉 I am trying to get all my very summer clothes worn before fall is upon us. Although living in the south means fall could show up sometime in October.
Plus, my cat Lafayette or “Laffy”. He’s a sweet 17-lb chunk.
Hope y’all have a great Tuesday, dear readers.

it’s no secret to anyone that I love polka dots, whether they be the vintage kind or more modern like the ones on this dress. The dress was a lovely gift from a sweet and thoughtful family friend.
The weather yesterday took a turn to unexpectedly cool, which encouraged me to wear a nice spring/fall jacket. All in all, I felt pretty snazzy at work.
What about you – do you like polka dots?
