winter wonderland {thrift style thursday}

It’s very fitting that this week’s Thrift Style Thursday theme is Winter White – and it snowed yesterday! Well, it has snowed 3 times in central North Carolina this winter, but yesterday’s snow was the most we’ve had! It was exciting! And I just love how beautiful the sunset was too!winter-white-fun-in-the-snow

  1. Wow! It looks lovely where you live! Whenever it snows in NYC it’s nice for a day, but then it gets all slushy and murky 😦

    I love the winter white trend. I think there’s something so elegant about it. Hope you’re having a great week!

    1. I can’t argue, it is pretty nice to live in a place where you’re close to buildings and downtown (our downtown is very small though) but also sometimes you feel like you live in the woods. Definitely different than NYC 🙂

      I was never big in winter white – not on purpose – but I do like pushing my boundaries. I wouldn’t mind a white sweater though, they do look quite elegant.

  2. Ooh, I love the combination of the fun neon stripe sweater with those white pants – I never would have thought of it, but it’s gorgeous! PS. That white vintage Coach looks like it was a steal!!! 😉

  3. I commend you for braving the elements for these gorgeous photos! Just like Kristi said…I would have never though of the stripes and pants and leopard, but dang, it works! I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again…you know how to mix patterns, girl!

    1. I know right?! I insisted that hubby take my pix in the snow, which he didn’t like. But the good news is it’s getting warmer and the days are getting longer, so I look forward to taking more outside pix. As for the print thing – I literally just throw things together and hope for the best, haha!
