animal prints {a thrift style thursday post}

Greetings friends! Another TST is upon us and this week’s theme is animal print. I have been a fan of animal prints, specifically leopard prints, for many years off and on and although I don’t have a whole bunch of choices, I did have this cool Phillip Lim for Target skirt. I also have a velour blazer and a scarf in leopard print that I love, but they’re more fall pieces. So is my leopard vest. I decided for this quickly-warming weather, a skirt was the best option and doubled up on the leopard print by adding the belt. Check it out:

Now tell me, what do you think of animal prints? Which are your favorites? What pieces are wardrobe musts?

  1. I loooooooove this skirt on you so much! You know just how to style it, too. I remember seeing in when it was in stores, and now I regret not buying it because it’s so darn cute! Work it, girlfrand!

  2. I love the mixing of the print scale – the huge print on the skirt with the tiny print on the belt!

    Hah! Good question! I’ve always been really “iffy” about animal prints – I’ve warmed up to the point of wearing shoes with a small amount of leopard. I don’t know that I’ll ever go much more than that… So I say animal print is OK for me, but only on footwear. 😀 How’s that for limitation.

  3. One can never go wrong with leopard, and you wear your spots so well! Loving that Phillip Lim skirt and how you’ve styled it with neutrals and a great belt. Fabulous.

    XOXO N & N

      1. No, it was a server problem and I couldn’t access my own blog – needless to say, I was in a panic!!! Seems like everything is back up and operating normally.
