the forgotten jacket

You know when you have an article of clothing or a pair of shoes that you love but that’s buried deep in your closet. So deep that you kind of forget about it? Yeah, I have that problem a lot, because let’s face it, I have way too many things in my closet. But one piece in particular that comes to mind is this Talbots Tuileries swing jacket, which I pretty much got obsessed with as soon as it came out, and which I hunted down on sale. Happy with my purchase, somehow this jacket sat in my closet for several years after being worn maybe once. Why? Maybe it wasn’t the most versatile jacket, maybe I have too many jackets (YES), or maybe it was simply forgotten. The beloved yet forgotten jacket comes out of hiding to make an appearance in this OOTD.

  1. Haha what a great idea for a post! I’m sure there’s stuff I’ve forgotten about even though I just did a closet clean-out a couple weeks ago. It’s always fun to find something like that again though…almost like a mini-Christmas πŸ™‚

  2. He he, I just love everything that describes your blog, hi there! πŸ˜€ Now that I think about it, I can surely find something I haven’t worn in ages, it’s a great idea to bring it back, feels like you renewed yourself… well, almost πŸ˜€
