hello, fall

I can’t believe it’s almost fall here in NC. It has been a strange summer – much cooler than usual (but still just as humid and rainy). I am really excited about fall though – the beautiful fall colors, the cooler weather, apples, pumpkins, and of course – long sleeves, scarves, and boots.

Here’s what I wore the other day: a long-sleeved blouse, my leopard scarf, skinny jeans, and my favorite booties.

I hope you are all enjoying the late summer/early fall weather. What’s your favorite thing about fall???

  1. I LOVE this fall outfit and I am so jealous it has cooled down enough for you to actually wear it haha! Although I know come winter I’ll be happy not to be buried in snow, it’s hard not being envious of everyone’s cooler temps while it feels like it’s just heating up here! 😉

  2. Yes, after a long harsh winter, we had a quick relatively cool summer and this is the last weekend before autumn begins. I love this outfit on you and it is perfect for the start of the new season.

  3. it’s been the oddest summer in OK too, weather-wise. I’m hoping for a lot of snow this winter, but I know there are many who would want to strangle me for saying that 😀

Love the leopard and purple together too, btw

    1. Thanks, Julie! I love purple and think it goes with just about anything (as does leopard). And speaking of crazy weather, it’s been in the 80s here and I’ve been wearing summery tops. But it will dip into the 60s this weekend. NC doesn’t do snow very well (at least not in the central/eastern part of the state) so I don’t look forward to snow that much – well, maybe a little 🙂
