happy plaid-day! {a workwear wednesday post}

Up until a few weeks ago, I had one plaid shirt. Now, I have two, and I’m sharing my favorite one today.

I wasn’t really a fan of plaid for a long time. I guess it reminded me too much of all the not-quite-cool clothes I wore in the 90s. A few years ago, I got a plaid vest and scarf and that’s when my dislike of plaid began to fade. I’m glad it did, because when done right, it’s actually a versatile, classic print that’s perfect for work ensembles.

Justine at the Thrifty Girl’s Guide is also sharing her plaid workwear wednesday outfit, so go check her out.

  1. This is such a cute and cozy fall outfit! I didn’t start wearing plaid until we vacationed in Scotland last fall, but now everything plaid makes me nostalgic for our trip. I love the colors in this one. I’d style it with a black tulle skirt and sparkling statement necklace for a holiday party. Definitely a piece you could dress up or down depending on your mood!
