A little bit 80s {a workwear wednesday post}

For this week’s Workwear Wednesday, Justine and I are sharing our 80s inspired looks. I wore this outfit to work on Monday and got quite a few compliments, which was quite nice. I finally wore my vintage Doncaster blazer, something that’s been hanging in my closet for a few years getting little wear. Sometimes with vintage clothes, I struggle to make a proper outfit, especially for work. But this blazer, with it’s sensible shoulder pads (they’re still there) and classic lines makes a good fit among more modern pieces.

Don’t forget to head over to Justine’s blog to see her 80s-inspired work outfit!

    1. Thanks so much, Liz! I was going for “80s CEO chic” since that seems to be something that I’m compared to at work sometimes and honestly I dig it. A little neon is good but like you said on Justine’s post, it can get kitchy too quickly. xo

  1. This perfectly work-appropriate, modern yet 80s inspired all at the same time! I seriously love that blazer on you and you should wear it more often. The boots are also so cute!
