Wishlist: Striped Dress!

Wishlist: Striped Dress!

Even though I have a couple of striped dresses in my closet, what I really crave is a striped dress for spring (preferable fit and flare and ponte knit).

What do you think of striped dresses? My favorite right now is the Tinley Road thick striped dress in black and beige. Even though the beige color is similar to my skin tone, I think I can pull it off with a blazer and red heels.

wishlist: statement necklace from bcbg

I first spied this elaborate necklace on the Girl with Curves blog. Something about it spoke to me. It’s reminiscent of Cleopatra and Egyptian style collar necklaces, and me being Egyptian, can’t resist the style. It’s also colorful and shiny (yay for rhinestones).

The problem is the price. $148 is just out of my budget for just one piece of costume jewelry!

piperlime spring wishlist – items under $100

Spring Wishlist

I usually buy shoes at Piperlime but I am really loving their spring apparel and accessories collection. The bright colors and florals and patterns are lovely (and I love the polka dot wedge!). I don’t usually spend beaucoup cash on clothes but I do know they can be pricey. These pieces are all under $100 each, which isn’t terribly expensive I suppose (if you only get one piece :)).

What do you think of these spring items? are you ready for spring?! I sure am!

manic monday shoes: patent perfection!

I think I’d like to start doing the Manic Monday shoe blog posts again. Mondays suck but if there’s any way to make it a better day, it’s with SHOES.

Anyone that knows me know I am obsessed with patent leather (or faux leather) shoes. A good, comfortable pair of patent pumps or heels in a neutral color such as beige or black (or even red) is a must-have wardrobe essential that’s perfect for work or play. This entire post will be dedicated to patent heels.
