I can’t believe it’s almost fall here in NC. It has been a strange summer – much cooler than usual (but still just as humid and rainy). I am really excited about fall though – the beautiful fall colors, the cooler weather, apples, pumpkins, and of course – long sleeves, scarves, and boots.
Here’s what I wore the other day: a long-sleeved blouse, my leopard scarf, skinny jeans, and my favorite booties.
I hope you are all enjoying the late summer/early fall weather. What’s your favorite thing about fall???
I’m a little late to the game but I really wanted to participate in the Pantone-inspired Spring Color Challenge.
Today, I tried to mimic the African Violet color. Not having the exact color in my wardrobe, I chose the next best thing from my closet.
Sorry for the janky photos, once again, I had to get my sleepy hubby to take phone pix of me in the hallway because he wasn’t wearing enough clothes to go outside, LOL!
Also I wanted to show off my new bangles, especially this awesome Swarovski celestial bracelet. I just love it!

Yesterday it was a little bit cooler (but still sunny) so I thought it a perfect day to break out my newly thrifted dress + an old satin coat from forever21 that I hardly wear. Plus I wore my new pumps + kate spade wallet clutch from consignment stores.
I really like this style of dress and how it looks on a curvy gal like me. I got a lot of complements at work so I guess this outfits is a home run? Sweet!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’re having a great hump-day!
I have a deep love for all things polka dot. I’ve been searching for a polka dot fit and flare dress that I could wear to work. Last week I found this cute work-appropriate black and white polka dot dress at my local Goodwill. This made me very happy! Not exactly the style I was searching for but great nonetheless.
Plus I have to tell you all how excited I was to find an almost brand new (tags were inside the bag) Longchamp tote at a thrift store for $2!! Hopefull this one is authentic, unlike the vintage Dooney bag I picked up a few weeks ago (soo sad).
Check it out:
