That’s a lot of alliteration but it was worth it. I’m such a huge fan of wrap dresses; they’re classy, perfect for work, and always so flattering. I had my eye on this lovely NWT BCBGMaxAzria dress at my favorite consignment shop and was able to snag it at 50% off and using my credits so it didn’t cost me anything. I’m excited to wear it for the spring. It also doesn’t hurt to get some compliments from your coworkers 🙂
Speaking of spring, it’s been termite hell week at our house as we battle yet another infestation 😦 Being a homeowner has its ups and downs and this week has been a down. Take care of your houses, folks, as termites can do a lot of damage! But on a happier note, my mom got into the clinical trial that she wanted to do for her cancer treatment and she starts her first infusion on March 30th. Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts.
I wore this dress last week on a day when the weather was more spring-like and less fall-like. I love yellow, and even though I don’t think it looks great on me all the time, I still love to wear the color.
And once again, I’m wearing my JustFab Luxe Remington bootie. It might be all worn out by the end of the season 🙂

It’s been a little while since my last post. Had some happenings in the past couple of weeks. First I got a new job, then my mom had a tumor removed from her chest. She’s doing well and is recover at our house but as y’all can imagine, taking care of her has left me with little time or energy to blog.
I wanted to share an outfit that I wore the other day that I really liked! I paired this gorgeous Lily feather print black wrap dress with one of my favorite pairs of shoes of all time: my Vince Camuto Trinity Sandals. They are so comfortable and I get so many compliments on them! I kick myself for not buying them in every color (maybe that would be too much) but I was able to get them on clearance for under $40, which is awesome! As for the dress, I picked it up at one of my favorite consignment stores for $15 or so.
What do you think of Vince Camuto shoes? Do you own a pair?
The weather’s really starting to heat up so for today’s Midsummer Madness dress I picked a little Lily wrap (pink/black/red/white print) number that I got at the thrift store for $4:) This printed dress is slightly shorter than I usually wear, but I think I’m getting more comfortable with showing my legs.
I’m also wearing my red and pink Bandolino Apparently flower peep toe slingbacks [I got them at Piperlime], which are comfortable and perfect for work.
I wanted to share with you an amazing find that I scored at my nearby clothing consignment store. In the past few months, I’ve been consigning my larger clothes and purchasing smaller ones from the store. This last time I ran into this amazing yellow wrap dress, only to find out that it was a Diane Von Furstenberg dress in immaculate condition! And it was under $30 but I had a store credit.
I was just messing around with the camera, taking pictures, and posing with my new dress – and I decided to pair my new DVF with a cool pair of patent peep toe mary janes – my Madeline Girl Angel Pumps that I got at DSW.
I can’t wait to get my new dress dry cleaned to I can actually wear it. I am a huge fan of wrap dresses – they’re so versatile, flattering, and perfect for work!
What do you think of my new duds? Have you ever done consignment shopping? Let me know what you’ve found!
